2020 Christmas in the Village: A Drive-Thru Visit with Santa

Canal Winchester’s annual storybook Christmas celebration will be held in the city’s historic downtown on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5 from 6 - 9 PM.

Although the 2020 celebration will look a little different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still want to provide our community with a bit of holiday cheer!

Friday and Saturday Night:Drive Thru Route

Drive-Thru Visit with Santa

Take a stroll down "Santa Claus Lane" (Towing Path Alley) to visit Santa, all from the safety of your vehicle! Residents will drive down Towing Path Alley via Washington Street to the greenspace of Stradley Place, behind the city's Municipal Building, where Santa will be waiting to hear all of the Christmas wishes!


Santa's friends will also be at the greenspace to deliver special surprises to your car while you wait!

Participation in the drive-thru event is limited to those inside of vehicles.  Stradley Place will be closed during the drive-thru, and no walk-up visitors will be permitted.

Saturday Only:

CW Historical Society - The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society will be selling wreaths and CW street signs from 9 AM - 12 PM on Saturday at the Chaney Mill (40 W. Oak St).

Santa Parade - Santa knows not every boy and girl will be able to make it to the drive-thru, so he is coming to you!  Keep an eye out for Santa on the firetruck to come through your neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. Click here for the parade route!

BrockStrong Holiday Lights Parade with Santa - Santa will join his friends for the annual BrockStrong Holiday Lights Parade, with a new, longer route!  But don't worry, he will be back in place for the drive-thru visits by 6 PM!

Beginning November 30th, Santa's Mailbox will be outside of the City's Municipal Building (36 S. High St.).

Be sure to include a return address in your letter to receive a response from Santa himself!
